How to use sp flashtool 

Sp flash Tool or SmartPhone FlashTool is a application software for flashing Stock ROM, Custom recovery and fixing bricks phones. The sp flashtool application is mainly for flashing MediaTek chipset phones (Gionee, Infinix, Tecno, Xbo, Huawei, and xbo). Sp flashtools can be use to flash recovery, unbrick brick android devices and make firmware update. You can download the different version at the end of the post.
What we can do with SPFlash tool

Sp flashtool can be you perform any of the following function


  1. Flashing of android stock ROM ( MTK phones)
  2. Flash Custom ROM
  3. Memory test and verification
  4. Remove anti theft using the format option
  5. Read and write parameters
  6. Erasing, formatting, and Reset You MTK base device

Sp flashtools requirement

For successful use of sp flashtools the following requirement most be meant
  1. Most have a PC or Laptop
  2. USB data cable for your device
  3. Most have Mediatek USB Vcom driver install in the Pc or Laptop. You can see the tutorial on how to install MTK driver HERE
  4. Most have a scatter file for the phone
  5. Lastly the spflashtool . Download version 5.106 HERE and version 3.1332 HERE

HOW TO USE THE SP FLASHTOOL

These step by step procedures to use the MTK tools are outline below. Kindly follow this procedure careful to ensure a successful result
  1. Download and unzip the sp flashtool
  2. Run the spflash_tools.exe
  3. Ensure you have your  ROM and already extracted with the scatter loader.txt available
  4. Click on the scatter loader button and locate the scatter_loader.txt in the ROM file
  5. Switch off the phone
  6. Click on Download button  (ctrl + D)
  7. Connect the phone for the process to begin
  8. It is done and MTK flashTool will do the rest. If you have problem with flashing tool or drivers install MediaTek USB VCOM drivers from our links
NOTE: After successful run you will be prompted with green circle. Congrats you have successfully flashed your MediaTek Android Smartphone with SP Flash Tool.
